Best antivirus software

Posted by: Hari   in Computers, Downloads

With all the ways that malicious programs can get into and harm your computer,
antivirus software is an absolute necessity. Despite its name, good antivirus
software should guard against much more than viruses. I have experienced lot of
problems in my computer. I was really struggling without proper antivirus. Some
were working properly but i couldn’t update then it is of no use. others slow
down my computer. So decided to have no antivirus in my computer. There came a
boot time virus which didn’t allow me to boot. :banghead: I had to reinstall my
OS then. Since i had to backup some file i installed new OS in G drive where i had nearly 12 movies and i had to delete it without any choice since i was having important things in other drives. Then i took backup files then installed new OS
in c drive since i was not suppose to format it.

CAUTION:DONT EVER TRY TO FORMAT C DRIVE AS YOU DO OTHER DRIVES.

As i didn’t want 2 OS in my system i formated G drive.Atlast my system is secure with one OS. I have installed eZantivirus. Which performs good till now.

Some of the best Antivirus as far as my knowledge is

  1. Kaspersky
  2. ESET no✰
  3. Trend Micro (Pc cilin)
  4. F-secure
  5. McCafee Virus scan
  6. Norton
  7. AVG antivirus
  8. CA antivirus
  9. Avast
  10. Panda

Well, i have used all these except Kaspersky, CA antivirus. All these are rapidshare download links where you can download it for free. All these resources were taken from Internet.

P.S. I’m not trying to disgrace any anti-virus. They work great, whatsoever.

Kaspersky is THE best da, less resource utilization. Not32 is also ok.
Norton is the worst i have ever seen, it takes up all resources, damn it.

Norton and McAfee are both useless since virus creators make their stuff to get past these two.

And nothing can stand against Poochi’s virus collection.

NOD32 and Kaspersky are good in that order in my opinion.

Norton detects stuff, but slows down your PC way too much.

I have been using Avast on my other PC for a while now. However, it didn’t detect some malware and I had to install Kaspersky.

Bitdefender and AVG (atleast the free ones) not so good.

Haven’t used the other ones, but I am sure I will soon find the need. :)

Accidentally, I clicked on Bit Defender. Goddamn! I got an error message. File not found. :x

Regarding the anti-virus, Nod32 is good. And so is Bit Defender. But the top choice is undoubtedly, Nod32.

NOD32 simply rockz. I have used Kaspersky and Bit defender but wasn’t feeling comfortable with them. Norton and Mcafee are simply out of the question.

Etrust is good with finding out the viruses, but simply deletes it even it is associated with some system files.

I’ll go with NOD32 and Kaspersky. They are the best. Even Zonealarm is good.
