I heard about the XML Challenge over xmlchallenge.com. It is a real fun IDUG contest for those who knows XML. This is really awesome and I would really Thank the one who told me about this website. I’m not a XML expert. EVen though it is Not a problem. There is a XML Challenge targeting professional and not only for them it is also for students. Its just not participation you can also build XML skills throughout this contest. There are five xml contest which includes Video contest, Gadget contest, Query contest, Ported App context and XML 2 context. Before participating, you need to take up a quick Quiz, a short questionnaire Which does not require any XML knowlege or any database knowledge.You can participate as individuals or as a team. Prizes and recognition awaits to the lucky XML skilled individuals either students or professionals who want to be the XML superstar.. Each of the competition has its own set of prizes. Your knowledge in XML doesn’t go waste. If you know XML, prove it here and also there is a chance of winning. Gadget Contest: Create a small widget or gadget, judged by the community, prizes awarded monthly
XQuery Challenge: Answer a series of questions by developing queries in XQuery. All correct answers (answer and query structure) entered to win larger prizes
Port an Application: Port an existing application to use XML, XQuery or DB2. Judged by a panel of judges
Develop an application: Develop a brand new application using XML and/or XQuery. Judged by a panel of judges
